PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Fighting together with makers next door
Just as dog people and cat people join hands, we have teamed up with makers across the border to develop a product. We can’t say yet what it is.
Dog person or cat person?
Joining hands beyond that rivalry.
That is what WanNyanLab. means by “fighting together.”
We don’t think this is only about dogs and cats.
We are making a product with a company in South Korea
There are two reasons.
The first is quality.
Korean manufacturing is highly skilled; for the same cost, they can make something better than we could in Japan.
That is not a feeling — it is a decision made after actually comparing.
The second is that the head of that company is a friend.
Yes, there is a lot going on between our two countries
We write this knowing that.
But individuals can still work together.
And we are.
We believe there is meaning in making something good together.
If dog people and cat people can join hands, we should be able to join hands with people across the border too.
We think it is the same thing.
We can’t say yet what we are making
It’s not that we want to hide it — we just aren’t ready yet.
When we can talk about it, we will tell you everything here.
